How To Setup Email On iPad 1 or 2

Setting up email on the Apple iPad is easy.

Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to configure POP3 email on your iPad.

Select Other from the Add Account settings menu and follow the below, but be sure to input your incoming and outgoing email server info.

Tap settings (from main panel)
Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Select Add Account
Select OTHER
Add Mail Account
Enter your Name, FULL Email address, Password and Description (optional)
Hit Save

Next Select POP for your mail type:

Fill out both the Incoming Mail and Outgoing Mail Server info.

mail.shortcutsolutions.net for both. Your USERNAME is your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS. Enter your password.
Hit Save!

Some times a SECURE NETWORK FAILED error pops up because the iPad 2 is impatient, just hit CANCEL and HIT SAVE AGAIN.

Once you see that it created a NEW ACCOUNT your email is all setup and ready to start sending and receiving.

Go HOME and hit the MAC MAIL button on your iPad 1 or 2.
